Has PPC been too intimidating for you to take on in the past. The most in depth PPC course in history has just launched.

It’s no secret that Jim Yaghi and I are business partners, and most of you know that I am his apprentice. So when I speak to you about PPC, you can rest assured that the information you get is definitely worth listening to.

Numis Network – Finally An MLM Worth Promoting

by Chris Owen on August 16, 2010 · 9 comments

If you haven’t heard of Numis Network yet, you’re in for a treat.Numis Network Gold and Silver Coins

As anyone who knows me is definitely aware of, I’m not an MLM guy. Never have been. I like high ticket direct sales and quick ticket affiliate products. I want my money now, and I don’t want to waste my time with products that have no business being sold for five times what they are worth. The reason the autoship was invented was to cover the fact that most companies products are simply not marketable on their own.

What usually happens is, you end up with a garage full of stuff you don’t need, or hey… on the bright side you stay well hydrated with juice products. Bottom line – It’s not for me.

ARTY – The Sales Funnel Hero

by Chris Owen on July 26, 2010 · 16 comments

ARTY is one name you’re gonna want to remember. He’s our sales funnel hero, and he can help you too.

For those that haven’t met my creation in some form or fashion yet, ARTY simply means, “Avatar Relating To You”. In the months of putting together project material for The Ultimate Sales Funnel, Arty is one of the largest key aspects to what we do. In some previous posts I’ve written, I’ve gotten more questions about Arty than any other subject. So it seems fit that I break it down for you.

Grab your pen and paper, (or open a doc) because this lesson is an interactive one. This is a process we put a lot of time into. For The Ultimate Sales Funnel live events, no steps can be taken to build the marketing system until Arty is found.

Inbound Linking Strategies

by Chris Owen on July 21, 2010 · 13 comments

Inbound linking strategies play a vital role in search engine optimization. Everyone wants to know the best way to get inbound links.

The sad truth is though, that getting loads of quality links for your website is either going to take a lot of time or cost a lot of money. Though I don’t have the advice you may want to hear, “How to get inbound links without time or money”, I can give you some advice to make the most of your time. First though, let me make this perfectly clear before I get too far…

Here’s how inbound linking works: Site A adds a link in some form to Site B. For Site A the link is outbound, and for Site B the link is inbound. Thus the name, inbound link. Also called back links, meaning a link back to your site. The more of these you get, the more Google see’s the importance of your site, and ranks you higher in the searches.

I’m gonna explain a little about basic link building strategies and then go a little deeper with building a link wheel. If you’ve read about link wheels before, and thought that they were too complicated I’ll clear that up today. I recommend you take some notes, and maybe bookmark this page to come back to later. Inbound Linking is a big topic, so I have a lot to cover.

These days Funded Proposal Systems are like dogs. Everybody has one. Some people have two.

Here is something you may not know. Your funded proposal system could be costing you money. It’s all about positioning. Marketing is a very complex process, and a few years ago when the economy was smokin’, putting your Funded Proposal on the front end of your sales funnel made sense. People were not easily sold on a new business when they were sitting in a sweet economy. Times have changed though, and what once was necessary to build value and cover advertising costs, is now an unnecessary filter in your marketing plan.

It’s time to start making money in the new economy, while the rest of the world waits on the old economy to come back

The Coolest Capture Page Software Ever

Post image for The Coolest Capture Page Software Ever

by Chris Owen on July 6, 2010 · 8 comments

In the search for the most effective capture page software on the net, I found Quick Squeeze Pages and immediately fell in love…

After testing nearly 30 programs at a grand total of $8,647, I have chosen the winner. The funny thing is that it was one of the lower cost programs that proved to be the best all around capture page software.

What was all of this for? The Ultimate Sales Funnel of course. We are taking 5 people per event, and building total marketing systems for each of them live over a three day weekend. We have to have the most effective, versatile, and understandable software possible. And we have to be able to move through these systems very quickly and efficiently for this all to come together in that time. And on top of all of that, we have to make sure that each person fully understands how to use everything that we put together for them.

So here is what made this my pick:

How You Choose to Spend Your Time – Shows What You Value

Today, I answer the big question… When do you start your keyword research, and how?

About two post’s back, I spoke about starting a business. I gave some advice based on the methods I use when I train. Since I have developed strategies based on my personal research, my results didn’t go with what the industry is taught as a whole. People today are taught by some pretty uppity programs to come out the gate giving advice and being a guru. All I can say, is that it’s a good thing they don’t teach doctors. [click to continue…]

How To Get Started With Internet Marketing

Post image for How To Get Started With Internet Marketing

I See The Same Recurring Problem Over And Over In the Marketing Strategy Of Most New Marketers.

I’m gonna do my part to help out today (warning: I am going to spam this article with all my favorite programs, products and courses).

I started my first online business from my couch. Not for the joy of working at home, or any of the normal reasons that people give. I was on the couch because I was on permanent bed rest. I had no choice, and I hated it. In a flash my legs were taken from me. But more than that, the injuries to my back were so severe that even a full year after leaving Iraq it was still dangerous for me to move too much. So it was either the bed or the couch, and I choose the option with the biggest TV. [click to continue…]

Have you asked yourself “what does my personal brand say about me?” Do you look like a million bucks? Or a clunker? You’re branded either way…so make yourself look good!

[Let me start with a disclaimer: This article is not to be taken literally! If you're a pinto man...you are still a sparkling individual...so rock it out! Do not, I repeat, do not go out and purchase a ridiculously expensive sports car with the excuse, "but I'm working on my personal brand." No no no...this is simply a comparison. A visual of how you want to be seen.]

How you see yourself has a direct effect on how others see you.

Positive affirmations will make all the difference in what you see, when you look in the mirror. Are you the cute kitty-kat? Or are you the fearless lion!? Now don’t get me wrong, there’s a time and place for cute kitty-kats…but that’s for another day.

Today let’s talk about transforming your self-image, into the bold and courageous individual you were created to be! Although, I am a huge fan of trashing your bathroom mirror with inspirational quotes…it’s deeper than that. You can look at those great lines every day, and still not feel any motivation. It may be time to peel away all that’s blocking your view of you. All you become or don’t become, is within your power. Something I’ve taped up several places as a personal positive affirmation is this: “If it’s to be, it’s up to me!”

This post is inspired by Wayne Vassell, who almost always surprises me with the pics he finds for his articles.  The pics you see in this post were pulled straight from his site just as an example of what this guy is coming up with.

Copywriting Strategy from the master of simple

If there is nothing else you take from Albert Einstein, remember this. He took one of the most advanced discoveries in the history of mankind, and explained it with only 5 characters. E=MC²

In the military we call this principle:

K.I.S.S…The acronym for “Keep It Simple Stupid”.

Sometimes copywriting is more about what you don’t say. Trimming the fat so to speak, to make a clear and concise point. Once you finish your copy, you should go back over it and cut out every word or sentence that isn’t necessary. [click to continue…]

First Law of Holes – When you Find Yourself in One, Stop Digging!

Once again, I want to welcome my very beautiful and talented wife Tragena to the site. I think this is one of the best posts yet on this site, but my opinion may be a little biased. You all asked for more, so here it is:

At some point, all of us have been there… You push but can’t move forward. You try to force your shoulders around to go the other way, but you’re stuck! The light is dim and it’s getting cold. And with shovel in hand, you dig even faster. Almost frantic! You’ve lost all sense of where you are. How did I get here!? What am I going to do!? How can I get out!?

Stop digging!

The true path to a mindset for success, is going to take you to some dark places. Here’s how to find your way back into the light.

The opening thought I want to share is this:

Fear is the spirit of failure embedded into the DNA of every successful person.

Yes, I did say successful. You didn’t think that successful people didn’t have to face their fears did you? It is quite the opposite. Most successful people became successful only after learning to take fear head on, and never make a choice based on an outcome of fear.

Today, I am going to share a page out of my upcoming book, Mindset For Success. It’s a story you may not expect.A story of fear. A day in the life of an American Soldier, and a day in the life of an American citizen. I myself, am more impressed with the strength of the citizen. And though these are extreme circumstances, they clearly make my point. Never make a decision based on fear. Those are the decisions that keep you up at night, many years to come.

So here it is…the story of a teenager who refused to join a gang, and a soldier that refused to fire his gun. And how they became hero’s in the process. [click to continue…]

Our love story, in all it’s tragedy, triumph and beauty. A marriage with a mindset for success.

Hey guys, I have a special treat for you today. I asked my wife, Tragena Owen to write a post for me. This was inspired from watching the awesome example of Derek and Monique Alvarez working together as a team on Drive The Line.  I wanted to bring Tragena more into my business world, and strengthen our bond, by sharing a passion that is only rivaled by her, our children, and God. So she finally gave in and emailed me this post, (we are 250 miles apart). I was a little shocked that she wrote it as a letter to me for our anniversary, but I think you all will love the message on having a mindset for success. [click to continue…]

A Little Boys Triumph and a Mindset For Success

It’s time to cut ties, burn bridges and break free the chains that bind you. Do you have a mindset for success?

No more excuses. No more self pity. No more self doubt.

Today is your day. Today nothing can hold you back. Why, because today you won’t allow it.

Do you know what the single most valuable characteristic in every self made millionaire is? Determination.

Highly successful people don’t find people to blame when they fail. They don’t revel in self pity, and they do not doubt their abilities.

The only thing that separates you from these people is your mindset.
